For his FUWA FUWA series, the Geneva-based ceramic artist Yusuké Y. Offhause drew his inspiration from archaeological artefacts when he created his FUWA FUWA series. He contrasted plastic, a symbol of our fast-paced society, with two long-lasting materials: glass and ceramics. The resulting objects took on an unconventional shape and are difficult to date. Both archaic and futuristic, they cast an ambiguous and contemporary doubt on the lifespan of consumer goods.
